Pakistani Defense Minister Tells US to Kidnap Netanyahu
Asif denounced the recent US operation in Venezuela, describing the capture of President Nicolas Maduro as a kidnapping, but argued that such an action would be warranted if directed against Israel.
Following last week’s raid, the US government accused Maduro of narcotics trafficking — charges he has consistently rejected, claiming Washington’s true aim was to exploit Venezuela’s natural resources rather than uphold justice.
The defense minister told a broadcaster in an interview earlier this week that the US actions “opened a Pandora’s box” by legitimizing a tactic that had previously been “highly controversial.” He warned that “the world order is collapsing,” adding that what Washington did was “not a good thing to do.”
Asif emphasized that if any leader deserved such treatment, it would be Netanyahu, whom he labeled “the worst criminal of humanity,” citing Israel’s military campaign in Gaza. “America should kidnap him and taking him away and prosecute him in any of its courts, if America is a friend of humanity,” he declared.
Alternatively, Asif suggested that Türkiye could carry out such an operation, while Pakistan would “pray” for that outcome.
